FROM MY KITCHEN | Chicken Broccoli Alfredo

This is one of those quick and easy meals, that I like to cook and the family loves to eat. (there isn't an image of a fancy staged plate, family dug in before I could take one)

This is what you need:
  • 1lb skinless, boneless chicken strips
  • 11/2 boxes of fettuccine noodles
  • 1-16 0z bag frozen broccoli florets
  • 1 jar of you favorite alfredo sauce

*cook your chicken (I boil mine for dishes like this), once cooked cut into bite size pieces or shred, it is up to you

*cook your pasta to al dente (don't forget to add about a tablespoon of olive oil to your water), drain (save about a 1/4 to 1/2 cup of your pasta water)

*cook your broccoli until they are firm and crisp.

*add all the above ingredients together, toss

*heat alfredo sauce to simmer

*add alfredo sauce to the above ingredients and mix to coat (now slowly add the reserved pasta water, make sure NOT to add too much, you want enough to keep the alfredo sauce creamy!

and Serve.
